ISIS executes five its leaders for hesitancy to fight

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The ISIS terrorist group executed five leaders of the terrorist group and punished others on Tuesday in Annah town, western Anbar province, on charges of cowardice in fighting the Iraqi forces.

According to military sources, ISIS accused those leaders of reluctance especially after several members were killed and injured by the Iraqi army and paramilitaries in western Anbar during the past few days.

Eleven militants were killed last week during military operations carried out by Iraqi forces against the group in Annah and Rawa towns, western Anbar, military sources said.

ISIS has been holding these towns since 2014 when it first emerged in Iraq and invaded large swathes of the country.
